a quick note

life is good. I've been learning more CSS for web design. Hopefully someday I'll have the site done & get to share it with you. One more week at the internship downtown, and so I'll find out soon if I can get more work/experience there. It's a nice time to be outside in Austin - the weather is perfect: 87 degrees, low humidity, sunny with a slight breeze. I'll get some stuff up soon, even if it's just my thoughts. my birthday was fun last week too - about 15 guys went to the Dog & Duck Pub, had a few good beers, played some pool & darts and just enjoyed each other's company.

wow! this is nice. I finally got a laptop after thinking of getting one for 3 years. Tonight is the first night I've got to take it to the coffee shop & just surf the web. I haven't got to do just hang out at the coffee shop or surf the web in a long time. It's nice to have see some work that is awesome. penabrand(thanks matt), brand new school, as always, and k10k

I feel like I've had a nice break from my creative work & I'm slowly getting back into it. I'm getting back to what I enjoyed about it in the first place and what I found fun about it/the playful side. I'm thinking "People get paid to do this stuff? Sweet!!!" =) It's hard to explain how awesome it is to finally be getting closer to doing work that I really, REALLY enjoy. ... that it might be possible to bring together all the vastly different things I've been involved with and interested in/ that someone values diversity and different experiences truly & allows you to bring your knowledge & love for those things to the table - that is sweet.

so I am back online, inspired & ready to work & design again.
here I come. =)
